Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure all electrical work meets local safety codes.
- Prepare and organize job sites, including setting up ladders, scaffolding, and tools.
- Handle and maintain basic electrical tools and equipment in good working order.
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and diagrams under supervision.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and adheres to strict safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to obtain an Electrician's license through our apprenticeship program.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
