Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects and emergency repairs
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults and system inefficiencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina electrician apprentice license or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to complete within 30 days)
