Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand wiring layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and work in various environments for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
