Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex installations and troubleshooting
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical components
- Document work orders and maintain project logs
- Assist in emergency electrical repairs during on-call rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain Indiana electrician license within 6 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
