Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and equipment following safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and efficiency
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision
- Adhere to all local electrical codes and safety regulations
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide paid on-the-job training
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
