Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and tools to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements accurately.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Willingness to obtain an Electrical Journeyman license within a specified timeframe.
