Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical faults and circuit issues.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, managing tools and materials efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide status updates.
- Assist in mentoring apprentices and junior staff when required.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
