Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform diagnostic evaluations on residential and commercial plumbing fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Ensure all work complies with Chicago plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Maintain organized job sites and inventory of tools/materials
- Document service reports and maintain client communication
- Participate in ongoing skills development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic hand tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing license within 12 months
- Background check and drug screen required
