Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation tasks
- Conduct safety inspections and follow OSHA compliance protocols
- Operate power tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean job sites and organize tools/materials efficiently
- Document work orders and maintain service records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Team player with excellent communication skills
