Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial piping systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Prepare job sites by unloading materials, organizing tools, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Perform basic pipe fitting, threading, and soldering under close supervision.
- Inspect installed systems to ensure they meet local building codes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (Trade school completion preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces or outdoors.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn from senior staff.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
