Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial piping systems.
- Learn and adhere to all local and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Perform basic tasks such as pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Prepare job sites, including gathering tools, materials, and cleaning up debris.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide updates on service.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary state licensing within a specific timeframe.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and measurements.
