Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with residential and commercial installation and repair projects.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain and organize job site tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Transport materials and supplies to and from job sites as directed.
- Perform basic pipe fitting, soldering, and fixture installation under supervision.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members on-site.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills are required for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards safety.
- No prior experience is necessary, but a mechanical aptitude is a plus.
