Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers and pipefitters with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial piping systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Perform basic pipefitting, soldering, brazing, and welding under close supervision.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job locations as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and answer questions.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in tight or confined spaces.
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade with a focus on quality and safety.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
