Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial installations/repairs
- Learn and use specialized plumbing tools and equipment safely
- Perform basic pipe fitting, drain cleaning, and fixture repairs
- Conduct preliminary plumbing system inspections and diagnostics
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and service vehicles
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety protocols
- Document work orders and communicate with homeowners/clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship certification
