Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with DC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients
- Mentor apprentices and junior team members
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls
Qualifications
- Valid DC Journeyman Plumber license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency in pipefitting, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with DC plumbing codes and inspection processes
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in confined spaces
