Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems
- Assist senior plumbers with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and drain clearing
- Follow safety protocols and building codes strictly
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshoot plumbing issues
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Reliable transportation to job sites across metro Detroit
