Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Learn to use and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and safety gear
- Perform basic pipe fitting, fixture repair, and drain clearing under supervision
- Follow building codes and safety protocols at all job sites
- Document work orders and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Detroit metro area
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship requirements
- Background check and drug screen required post-offer
