Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial pipe installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair common plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and drainage blockages.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain job progress and answer questions.
- Perform basic pipe fitting, soldering, and fixture installation under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical stamina for heavy lifting.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
