Responsibilities
- Excavate, prepare, and maintain construction sites using hand/power tools
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate machinery like forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete saws
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications
- Complete daily timecards and equipment inspection reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment familiarity
- Flexible schedule including weekend/evening availability
- Background check and drug screen required
