Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand/power tools, and site cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, equipment setup, and project preparation
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites throughout all project phases
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily construction milestones
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Experience with concrete, masonry, or framing a plus
