Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) on complex builds
- Inspect materials for quality compliance and report defects
- Assist in scaffolding setup and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily and climb ladders/scaffolding
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
