Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and equipment operation
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for accurate task execution
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environments
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Complete daily reports documenting work progress and material usage
- Adhere to strict safety standards and participate in regular training
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston metro
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity)
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
