Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Philadelphia municipal regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines
- Conduct safety inspections and implement best practices
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed electrician
- Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Proven expertise in residential and commercial electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local Philadelphia electrical codes
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints accurately
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
