Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to deliver high-quality projects
- Perform safety inspections and preventative maintenance routines
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices
Qualifications
- Valid New York State electrician license (or reciprocity-ready)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and load calculations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
