Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Perform residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and resolve wiring issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor apprentices and train junior staff on proper techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent experience in Illinois).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical work.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
