Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material preparation and installation tasks
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate time tracking
- Participate in team briefings to coordinate workflow and project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or relevant trade school certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as required
