Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Follow blueprints and maintain project documentation
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Transport materials using equipment like forklifts and skid steers
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Experience with power tools and heavy machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
