Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand tools, and assisting skilled tradespeople
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist in site preparation, cleanup, and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
