Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Adapt to changing project schedules and site conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or manual labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Basic tool operation knowledge (hammers, saws, drills)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
