Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment across the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC) with various on-site tasks and setups.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools, ensuring proper maintenance and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by following all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting heavy objects (up to 50lbs), and pouring concrete.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction drawings when directed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions for long shifts.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Experience in general construction or labor is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
