Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support daily installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
- Material Handling: Accurately measure, cut, and strip wire; organize and transport tools and materials to job sites.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- System Installation: Install outlets, lighting fixtures, junction boxes, and switchgear as directed.
- Troubleshooting Support: Help identify and resolve basic electrical issues and circuit faults.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED is required; prior trade experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid, clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of math (fractions/measurements) and mechanical reasoning.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, professional, and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
