The Role:
As a Plumber at Metro Detroit Plumbing Pros, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. We need a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure our customers have peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Install and maintain water heaters, faucets, toilets, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan pipe layouts.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding repairs and costs.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the work area and maintain company vehicles and tools.
- Handle emergency service calls efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Journeyman Plumber License in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and plumbing standards.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and own basic hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina.
