Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of innovation initiatives
- Represent company at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio and drive strategic investments
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or centers of excellence
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Prior experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
