Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future-focused opportunities
- Quantify market potential for emerging technologies through data-driven scenario modeling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Drive proof-of-concept projects for high-impact innovations with $500K+ budgets
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and strategic adaptation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight
- Proven track record translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of 2026 technology projections (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
