Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's 2026 innovation strategy through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough technologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Deliver executive briefings on future market disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Design and implement innovation frameworks including scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Mentor R&D teams in exponential technology adoption (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Drive culture transformation to embed future-thinking across all departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies or products
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive storytelling and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism publications
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
