Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts pre-2026
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps integrating quantum, biotech, and AI domains
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for exponential technology adoption
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into R&D pipeline priorities
- Author thought leadership on 2026+ industry transformation
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist researchers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating speculative trends into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in exponential technology stacks (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published work on 2030+ technology scenarios or trend analysis
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFIP) preferred
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
