Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks translating future scenarios into executable roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to embed future-readiness into innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership presentations on emerging market opportunities
- Design and conduct scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Analyze geopolitical and macroeconomic trends to anticipate industry transformation catalysts
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight intelligence database with predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi methods, STEEP analysis, systems modeling)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations in tech or consumer sectors
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their trajectories
