Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize future scenarios and prioritize R&D investments
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight into product development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on future trends
- Establish KPIs to track innovation maturity and future-readiness metrics
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTR, CIMS)
