Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotechnology, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market conditions and regulatory landscapes
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models and customer experiences
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight findings into actionable product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms in technology and society
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or corporate R&D with future-focused outcomes
- Proven track record of developing and implementing foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI ethics, neurotech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Published work in futurist journals or industry whitepapers on 2020s trends
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent program completion
