Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for AI integration, quantum adoption, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Curate and host cross-disciplinary innovation summits with MIT, NASA, and WHO thought partners
- Quantify market opportunities in emerging sectors including neural interfaces, climate tech, and synthetic biology
- Author white papers and trend briefs that position Nexus Horizons as the authority on next-gen innovation
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts in horizon scanning methodology and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership within tech/bio/energy sectors
- Proven track record of translating exponential trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI development, neurotech, and climate adaptation systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to distill complex futures into compelling narratives for stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio published in Nature Futures, HBR, or equivalent foresight publications
