Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, social shifts, and market disruptions with 3-5 year impact
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for 2026+ business adaptation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating foresight into actionable product/service concepts
- Present compelling future narratives to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Establish quantitative forecasting models combining AI-driven analytics with qualitative human insights
- Partner with R&D to validate future-viable technologies and accelerate innovation pipelines
- Author forward-looking thought leadership positioning Horizon Dynamics as a futurism authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years applying futurism methodologies in corporate strategy, product development, or consulting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruptive technology assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex future insights into executive strategy
- Experience developing agile innovation frameworks for rapidly evolving markets
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented strategy implementation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
