Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and environmental domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Produce scenario-planning models for 2026+ market conditions and technological inflection points
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead workshops on future literacy and strategic foresight methodologies
- Build and maintain a network of thought leaders and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy and implementation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Experience working in fast-paced tech or innovation-driven environments
