Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks translating future trends into actionable business roadmaps
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to validate future-facing business models
- Author thought leadership publications on technological and societal transformation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused organizations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into coherent narratives
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives and drive organizational change
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field required
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences preferred
