Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce quarterly futures intelligence reports synthesizing technological, social, and economic disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Design and implement early-warning systems for emerging threats and opportunities
- Build executive dashboards visualizing long-term strategic implications
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and scout paradigm-shifting startups
- Author thought leadership pieces positioning the company as a future-facing industry authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy at Fortune 500 level
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and quantitative trend analysis tools
- Proven track record of translating futures insights into tangible business outcomes
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic foresight projects
- Experience with foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer) and data visualization tools
