Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with task-specific duties
- Operate hand/power tools safely and perform basic equipment maintenance
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and interpret project specifications for accurate execution
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and quality control checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Clean background check and drug-free status required
