Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and state/local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid journeyman or master electrician license (NY or PA)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical installation experience
- Proven expertise in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
- Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and smart home technology
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends for emergencies
- Strong communication and customer service skills
