Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead discovery initiatives for next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces)
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging trends
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget across experimental projects
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 8+ years in product/innovation strategy with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching tech products with $10M+ ARR impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies preferred
- Deep expertise in emerging tech (blockchain, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ disruptive product launches
- Strong data storytelling skills with Tableau/Power BI proficiency
