Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring systems.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding as needed.
