Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Long Beach building codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing clear updates on project status and ensuring satisfaction.
- Documentation: Accurately complete job reports, time sheets, and inspection paperwork.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid California Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Tools: Must possess and maintain a personal set of high-quality hand tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client interaction.
- Reliability: Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to various job sites within Long Beach and surrounding areas.
