Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Perform system diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized tools
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and clients on project requirements
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial controls a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
